Marketplace Merchant Services - Executive/Senior Executive

(Position open for Singaporean/Permanent Resident)


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Assist the Merchant Onboarding Lead with end-to-end store setup requirements to ensure timely and successful store launch on selected marketplaces.
   2. Duties of the Onboarding Team including, but not limited to:
        a) Engaging brand owners for complete store listing information (product information, product  images, marketing artwork, price, promotion mechanics, etc)
        b)Listing of products on Marketplaces
        c)Work with Creative Team on stores design.
        d)Assist in training brand owners upon handover of stores
        e)Merchant account management and technical troubleshooting, where necessary
    3.Work closely with Marketing Team in ensuring accuracy in the product description to ensure the launching of stores on marketplaces.
    4.Build merchant engagement to encourage attractive up-to-date promotional activities through maintaining close rapport and relationship with existing and new merchants.
    5.Collaborate with the wider teams of YSG (Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance) to ensure smooth daily operations.
    6.Assist the Onboarding Lead with the reconciliation of orders made on the marketplace and ensure accurate monthly billing.
    7. Meet and exceed the timely execution of all deliverables.  
    8. Perform any other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of proven working experience in a similar role.
  • Highly organised, meticulous with a strong attention to details.
  • Fast thinker with a strong sense of business acumen.
  • Ability to handle people of all levels.
  • Pleasant, clean, and professional image.
  • Strong working knowledge of corporate finance principles
  • Strong English proficiency plus additional languages will be an advantage.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Formulate marketing strategies for effective digital engagement with key stakeholders.
  2. Manage and execute full spectrum of marketing communications to meet business goals.
  3. Collaborate with creative team to develop and execute creative ideas, design and layout in digital media.
  4. Drive digital marketing campaigns including collaboration with strategic partners to increase brand awareness.
  5. Evaluate the ROI of all marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  6. Strong involvement in executing SEO/SEM efforts to increase platform traffic.
  7. Manage platform content architecture for excellent touchpoints.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Participate in tactical strategies to recruit potential businesses to sell on YSG marketplace.  
  2. Execute full spectrum of sales tactics to meet business goals.
  3. Collaborate with the wider team to effectively hunt in allocated segments. 
  4. Perform the role of YSG’s Brand Ambassador in assisting the onboarding of new businesses.
  5. Take charge in offering onboarding packages within authorised limits.
  6. Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to qualification.
  7. Manage the relationships of clients to encourage referrals.   
  8. Meet and exceed monthly seller acquisition targets.
  9. Perform any other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

SALES MANAGER

(Positions in Malaysia; Philippines; Thailand; Vietnam)


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for managing organizational sales by developing business plans and meeting planned goals.
  2. Help execute YSG’s sales policies, objectives and initiatives, set short- and long-term sales strategies and achieve sales targets  

JOB TASKS AND SPECIFICATIONS: 

  1. Plan, implement sales strategies and deliver /help deliver planned sales goals.
  2. Participate/Initiate sales objectives /targets by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new clients.
  3. Manage sourcing of customers. Build and maintain relationships with customers and assist and direct team members in sourcing and growing customer base.
  4. Provide excellent service and maintenance of current customers, including analysis of current lanes to assure we are competitive.
  5. Monthly financial analysis including determining overall success of current customer profiles in terms of revenue and profit.
  6. Determine current rates in the marketplace offered by competitors.
  7. Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to pre-set standards, industry and economic trends including sales and margin goals.
  8. Overseeing the activities and the performance of sales function
  9. Prepare report if needed;
  10. Perform other jobs related to sales function as assigned   

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing; Digital Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • With 5 to 7 years exposure to E-Commerce Services & Fulfilment sales and marketing activities in a senior level with proven ability to achieve/ surpass performance target.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written) and presentation skills.
  • In depth knowledge of E-Commerce Services and related activities such Enablement, Fulfilment, Marketplace and Last Mile Delivery. Knowledge in e-commerce business and its operating parameters.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
  • With strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills and able to deal with people at all levels in and outside the organization.

E-COMMERCE CHANNEL EXECUTIVE / MANAGER

(Positions in Singapore; Indonesia; Malaysia; Philippines; Thailand; Vietnam)


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Take charge of Store Management of Assigned Brands on E-commerce Marketplaces. Work closely with the relevant internal stakeholders to execute strategies and maintain high service quality for customer satisfaction.
  2. Create, plan and execute digital marketing plans for campaign launches, collaborate with stakeholders to put together a plan of actions for successful execution and to maximize revenue and profit.
  3. Manage Customer Service chat platforms to ensure Excellent Customer Experience of the Assigned Brands. Monitor and respond to customer reviews on marketplaces.
  4. Work closely with Warehouse Team to ensure Inventory are Inbounded and Orders are Shipped-On-Time.
  5. Providing Onboarding to Assigned Brands on Marketplaces, Product Listing and Campaign Registration.
  6. Monitor and Analyze competitor product sales to provide insights to Brand Owners for them to make effective business decisions.
  7. Review and align current strategic plans with Brand Owners, develop resource allocation plans and implement a targeted strategy according to requirements.
  8. Responsible for monthly reporting, profit & loss reporting, setting of performance measurement/matrix to measure the well-being of the marketplace launch.
  9. Ensuring Assigned Brands are performing above marketplace KPIs.
  10. To perform any other duties as assigned by top Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business / Marketing / Digital or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with eCom Marketplace Channel Management especially Lazada, Shopee & Zalora
  • Advantage to have experience with country-specific local marketplace platforms (Tiki in Vietnam, Bukalapak in Indonesia, JD Central in Thailand…etc)
  • Proven track record in using Marketplace Seller Centre Tools
  • Highly analytical. Proficient in business presentation
  • Attention to details and good follow-up capabilities
  • Excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Graphic design/photoshop skills will be an advantage although not a pre-requisite
