A deep colour with hints of ruby. The first nose is slightly closed, but opens up with swirling, revealing notes of small berries and discreet, toasted oak. The attack is supple, but intense and rich. Full-bodied and powerful on the mouth, making a big impression mid-palate. Delicate tannins with a smooth texture. Well-aged in oak barrels, the woody aromas do not overpower the wine. This is a generous wine which has great potential for ageing up to 20 years.
