Simply Rocks - Fluorite

Description:  This beautiful Fluorite specimen with quartz was from the now defunct Hermina mine in Germany. Once famous for its fluorites, the mine operated until 1987 when nearing exhaustion, it was finally closed. This specimen is well-preserved as it still has its original structure and lustre. It is also also partially dusted with hematoid micro-quartz.
