Description: The famous fluorite specimens from the Yaogangxian Mine in China are truly captivating, especially those featuring a powerful composition of quartz and calcite, just like this stunning specimen. At the heart of the specimen is a cluster of colourless; transparent and lustrous Fluorite cubes. The intense clarity allows one to see through the Fluorite cubes without any difficulty , that is, if there is one in the first place.

Flanking the cluster of Fluorite cubes are two prominent quartz crystals that are also very clear and prismatic. The quartz crystals terminate to the front, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of this specimen.

Behind the fluorite and quartz, are a beautiful cluster of calcite crystals arranged in a flower-like pattern. These calcite “flowers” are ivory-white with greyish trimmings which adds a delicate touch to the specimen.

The superb clarity of the fluorite cubes, combined with the clear quartz and delicate calcite flowers in such a harmonious composition makes this highly desirable for collectors as it also demonstrates the beauty of geological processes and affirms Yaogangxian’s reputation in coming out with world class specimens that are not only visually striking but also serves as a testament to the incredible diversity and artistry found in nature.
