Description: Phantom amethyst is a unique and fascinating variety of amethyst that features ghost-like inclusions or “phantoms” within the crystal. These phantoms are formed by interruptions in the crystal’s growth, where a new layer of mineral deposits over the previous one, creating visible outlines of earlier stages of the crystal’s development the Phantom Amethyst Cluster from Brazil. This stunning piece with its absolutely beautiful phantoms boasts an unusual coloration that sets it apart from other amethyst specimens. The phantom-like inclusions within the crystal create a mesmerizing effect, adding depth and dimensionality to the cluster. This massive 1.82kg cluster was placed next to the window with some indirect sunlight. Although the lighting conditions were not optimal, the amethyst crystals were so lustre that at different angles, the amethyst crystals would appear to be covered by some fluid.
