Description: This particular cluster is an impressive specimen. Its surface is covered in dozens of interlocking, cube-shaped pyrite crystals. The crystals are a stunning, bright gold color that catches the light and sparkles in every direction. The overall effect is one of incredible luster and shine, as though the entire cluster is made of solid gold. Upon closer inspection, you can see the intricate, geometric patterns of the pyrite crystals, each one reflecting the light in its own unique way. The edges of the crystals are sharp and well-defined, adding to the sense of depth and complexity. This particular pyrite cluster is from the Huanzala Mine in the Ancash region of Peru, which is known for producing some of the finest specimens of pyrite in the world. Its golden color is due to the presence of iron sulfide, which gives it a metallic sheen and a distinctive, brassy coloration.
