Most of umeshu is made by sake or shochu, so whiskey-based umeshu is rare.
It features a faint plum scent and an elegant mouthfeel.
WAKATSURU is a traditional sake brewery that has been brewing sake for about 150 years in the Tonami area of Toyama prefecture.
In addition to sake, they have been producing whiskey using clear local spring water for 50 years.
